Tournament Description
The Hancock Hope House is dedicated to providing hope and empowerment to individuals and families in our community who are experiencing homelessness. Through mentoring and tailored support, we aim to help clients achieve greater stability and productivity in their lives.
All proceeds will directly support the mission of the Hope House to empower people to build a solid foundation for self-sufficiency and long-term success. Find out more about the organization at hancockhopehouse.org

Tournament Information:
The tournament will be held June 28 and June 29 at Mt Vernon High School in Fortville, Indiana. It will be open to all players 2.5 to 4.5+ with each event broken down by skill level first and then by age.
Registration is $50.00 to sign up and $10.00 per event. For example, if you sign up for one event like 4.0 mixed you will pay $60.00 ($50.00 + $10.00). Your partner will also pay $60.00. If you sign up for 2 events like 4.0 mixed and 4.0 men, you will pay $70.00 ($50.00 sign up+ $10.00 MXD + $10.00 MD).
The planned format will be double elimination offering teams a second chance. Teams will start out in the main draw where all matches will be 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2. If a team continues to win, they will proceed in the main draw to play for Gold and Silver. If a team loses in the main draw, they will go to the consolation (bottom) bracket where all matches will be 1 game to 15, win by 2. The winner will move up and play the final team in the top bracket for Gold and the loser will get Bronze.
Main Draw: 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2
Consolation Bracket: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Bronze Medal Match: 1 game to 15, win by 2
Gold/Silver Medal Match: 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2
Note: for the Gold/Silver medal match - if the winner is from the consolation bracket, they will play one more game to 15, win by 2.
DIVISIONS/AGE BRACKETS –
The following is a list of planned divisions and aged brackets. Self-rating and birth date entered in Pickleball Brackets will be used to provide a player which division/age will be made available to select. If one player is over the age bracket and one is under, you will play down. Older players can always play below their age, but younger players can’t play up in age.

BRACKET CHANGES –
Events may merge or split by age based on the number of registrations. For example, if we don’t have enough players in 3.5 20-29 age group they COULD be combined with 3.5 30-39. YOU ARE ACCEPTING THIS CONDITION BY REGISTERING FOR THIS TOURNAMENT.
PAYMENT/PARTNER POLICY –
Both players must be registered and paid in full to be eligible for brackets. Players without a registered partner and paid partner will be moved to the waitlist after 10 days.
TIMES – we will not know the start times until registration closes, and tournament layout is completed sometime the week of June 22.
Additional Info
Although this tournament is not officially sanctioned, we will be following the USA Pickleball rules including the approved paddle list. The official list can be found at usapickleball.org under tournament/resources/approved paddles.

Refund Policy
Registration and payment deadline is Saturday June 21, 2025 at midnight. No refunds after June 21.
Withdrawals will forfeit the Pickleball Bracket processing fee.
Weather
This is an outdoor tournament in June in Indiana. The venue has lights so we will do our best to get the tournament in on the scheduled days, even if impacted by weather.
If we can't get the tournament in on the June 28 or June 29 because of weather a refund will not be offered, like most outdoor tournaments.
