Join us for "Dink, Drop & Drive for Doc" at the Mineral Palace Park courts. The Steel City Eagles #3367 and Pueblo Pickleball Friends are hosting this tournament to honor Richard "Doc" Ratliff, who passed away earlier this year. Doc was one of Pueblo's Pickleball Pioneers. Proceeds will be used to install a memorial bench in his honor and provide additional funds for other court improvements.

Round Robin Format

Men's & Women's Singles (3.0 & under; 3.5; 4.0+)

Men's, Women's & Mixed Doubles (3.0 & under; 3.5; 4.0; 4.5+)

Age brackets for 3.0, 3.5 & 4.0+ will be Under 60 & 60+

Age brackets for Men's Doubles 4.0-4.5 will be 19+ (all ages)

Age and/or skill levels may be combined, when necessary

Self refereed matches

$50.00 registration fee includes one event; additional events $10.00 each; minimal service fees apply (capped at $10)

Must pay all fees and sign waivers at the time of registration to remain eligible for the event; unpaid registrations will be moved to the wait list after 5 days.

Once start times have been determined and posted, plan to arrive at least 30 minutes prior to start time.

Results will be submitted to DUPR. If you do not have a DUPR account, you may create one or claim your account if you have competed in previous tournaments. Please consider connecting your Pickleballbrackets.com account with your DUPR account to streamline your results to your DUPR rating.

Pets welcome, but must be leashed and remain outside exterior fence. Please clean up after your pet.

The court aisle way will be reserved for players and staff. Spectators will have plenty of viewing area surrounding the courts, outside the exterior fence. Bring your chairs and canopies to cheer on the players.

PARKING: Available in large lot south of courts; available in small lot north of courts on 20th Street; available throughout the park and neighborhood streets. There may be other events throughout the park that may limit parking; please consider car-pooling and allow extra time to arrive. PLEASE OBSERVE ALL SIGNS.

SPECIAL NOTE: We will allow minors to register under the following conditions: 1) a formal request is made by the parent to the tournament committee with the minor's age, birthdate, and skill level; 2) the minor will only be allowed to play with the parent; 3) parent is willing to sign an additional waiver on-site, the day of play; 4) tournament committee has discretion as to the final decision to allow the minor to register and play.

VENDORS & FOOD: We will have several vendors on site. The Steel City Eagles will also provide a sack meal for every player each day played.

Refunds will be available up to 8/24/24. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee. Emergency refunds will be considered based on documentation and tournament director approval.

This is an outdoor tournament. In the event of inclement weather, every attempt will be made to accommodate safe play for scheduled events. We may have an alternate indoor venue available, to be determined within the week prior to the event.

Men's & Women's Singles are new events this year. If brackets do not fill or cannot be merged appropriately, refunds will be given if singles events are canceled.
