Tournament Description

Dink, Drink, and Dine Pickleball Tournament benefiting the Dozoretz Hospice House of Hampton Roads.
Come out and enjoy a wonderful day of dinking, drinking, and dining, all for a great cause, at the beautiful Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club.
Registration is $100 and includes pickleball (a minimum of two matches), a tournament gift, lunch, one drink ticket, and live music. Sponsorship opportunities are available. Please reach out to Alicia Freidman for more information at aliciafriedman@cox.net
The event will depend on the number of registrations in each bracket. Space is limited to 80 players. Each round will consist of one game, played first to 15 win by 2 for main draw matches and first to 11 win by 2 for the consolation bracket. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the main draws for each division (Dink Divison-Advanced, Drive Divison-Intermediate, Drink Division-Beginner)
Lunch is included in the price, and a cash bar will be available throughout the event. Don't miss out on purchasing tickets for our amazing raffles. Winners will be drawn and announced throughout the day.
We reserve the right to combine brackets based on the number of registered teams to ensure the best competitive play.
The tournament staff reserves the right to refuse service at any time.

Additional Information

The tournament is located at the Cavalier Golf & Yacht Club - 1052 Cardinal Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23451
Warm-up and check-in begin at 11:30 a.m. (Please, no early birds!), with matches starting at noon.
To register for this tournament, you must have a FREE Pickleball Brackets account. If you do not have an account, create one before registration opens. It will save you time.
Enter as a TEAM and make sure your partner registers and pays within 24 hours of you registering. If a partner still needs to complete their registration within 24 hours of the first partner registering, the team will be moved to the waitlist. When the identified partner registers and pays, the team will be moved from the waitlist back to the active list ONLY if a slot is available. Confirm with your partner BEFORE registration to avoid disappointment.
FULLY REGISTERED/PAID TEAMS WILL BE GIVEN PRIORITY! An event is considered full when fully registered teams meet the set limit. At that time, PB Brackets will create a waitlist.
NEED A PARTNER?
If you need a partner, check out the tournament listing on pickleballbrackets.com to see who is looking for one.
If a partner becomes injured before the start of the tournament but after registration has closed, the tournament director must be contacted to request a change. Replacement players must be able to play in the same skill/age group as the injured player. The replacement player must sign the waiver and submit payment in order to be fully registered. Remember, players may play up in skill but not down.
The tournament director will consider any request to replace a player after registration closes. Should the tournament director approve the partner change, a desk operations team member will edit the registration, not the players. The replacement player should be of the same playing level as the person they are replacing. If the change in partner results in a bracket change, this will only be allowed before draws are posted. No changes to levels will be allowed after the draws are posted.
HELPFUL INFORMATION
Food will be served, and drinks will be available for purchase.
Players are encouraged to bring:
- their own portable chairs.
- hat or umbrella for personal shade.

Refund Policy

**REFUND POLICY**
Any withdrawals before registration closes on October 6, 2024, will incur a $25 ($20 Hospice House processing fee plus the $5 non-refundable Pickleballbrackets service fee).
Withdrawals after registration closes on October 6, 2024, no refunds will be allowed. Please consider your registration a donation to our valuable cause.
In the case of bad weather and unplayable courts, the event will be moved to later in the evening, on Sunday, October 13th, from 5 to 8 p.m. It will transition to a fun evening with dinner and live music instead of an actual tournament. By registering for this event, you agree to these terms. No refunds will be issued if you cannot attend the rain event.
