Dill Dinkers of Finksburg Invites You to Our 2024 Presidents Weekend Doubles Tournament

* This will be an indoor tournament on our 12 climate-controlled Pickleball courts. All General Events will be Round Robin Format....OPEN Events will be Double Elimination.

 * Saturday, February 17th will be Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles.

 * Sunday, February 18th will be Mixed Doubles.

 * We will have nearly $9,800 of potential cash and prize payouts for our three OPEN PLAY DOUBLE ELIMINATION events - (Men's, Women's, Mixed). The event will have no come around. The final match in the winners bracket will be for Gold/Silver, and the final match in the Consolation bracket will be for Bronze.

* Dill Dinker Members can pre-register between 10/28/23 and 11/18/23 (plus event fees and Pickleball Bracket fees). Dill Dinkers Members can register for the Dill Dinker Club on PickleballBrackets.com and get their registration fee for $42.

* General registration will begin on 11/18/23 for $50 (plus event fees and Pickleball Bracket fees)

* Regular Men's and Women's Doubles events will have at least two age groups and skill levels of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0+. Regular Mixed Doubles events will have four age groups with skill levels fo 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+. These events will be in a Round-Robin format. Each Round-Robin will have two pools of five teams each. Games will be to 15 points, win by 2 points. The top two teams from each pool will compete in a playoff.

* Registration (one-time fee) - $50 - all registrants will receive a gift from Dill Dinkers

* Regular Events - Doubles - $10 per player

* Open $$$ Events - $100 per player

* NOTE - Pickleball Brackets charges a separate administration fee per event that is non-refundable at any time. (The Pickleball Bracket fee is $5 for the first event and a $10 max for multiple events.)

* The Tournament Director has the right to make changes to format, adjust age brackets, or other items if needed.

* Medals awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.

 * General Event playoffs (including medal matches) will be one game to 15 points, win by 2 points.

 * Open Play - Double Elimination with no come around (i.e. if a team loses a match the best they can do is bronze. They cannot come around to win the gold).

* 2024 USA Pickleball Rules will apply.

* Team Age bracket will be determined by the age of the youngest partner. Age as of 12/31/2024.

* Team Skill level will be determined by the highest skill level of the player on the team.

* All team members must check in at least 30 minutes prior to their bracket start time. Please refer to Event Schedule for your team's bracket start time.

* About a week prior to the tournament date, staggered start time information by bracket will be available on the www.pickleballbrackets.com website.

Both you and your partner must be registered with PickleballBrackets.com before you will be able to confirm a spot in the event. Your partner will need to register within 15 days to keep from being moved to the waitlist. If you register for an event without a partner, you will have 15 days for your partner to register, or you could be moved to the waitlist. If the event is not full, once both you and your partner are registered you should be automatically moved back into the event.

If you are placed into an event, and you are subsequently moved to the waitlist and are not able to get back into an event, you will receive a refund of the applicable event fee and the registration fee if this is your only event. You will not receive a refund of the Pickleball Bracket $5 event fee.

The online Waitlist is sorted alphabetically, and not by the date placed on the Waitlist. Fully registered teams on the Waitlist will have priority based on the earliest date the second partner registered.

Refunds (minus a $30 to $35 fee [$25 fee plus $5 or $10 Pickleball Bracket event fee] depending on how many events you are withdrawing from) will be allowed until 1/26/23. After that date, no refunds will be given (even for weather). This is an indoor event. There are no refunds due to weather.

* Note - PickleballBrackets.com charges a separate administration fee at checkout that is non-refundable at any time if you are placed into an event.

* We will hold Open Divisions for Men's Doubles, Women's Doubles, and Mixed Doubles.

* The event will be Double Elimination. The winners' bracket will be best 2 out of 3 games, played to 11 points, win by 2 points. The consolation bracket will be 1 game to 15 points, win by 2 points.

* Double Elimination with no come around (i.e. if a team loses a match the best they can do is bronze. They cannot come around to win the gold).

* Entry fee per player will be a $50 registration (one-time), $100 Event Fee, and $5 PickleballBracket.com fee. If you register for more than one event, you do not pay the registration fee again.

* 100% of the OPEN PLAY event fees will go to payouts for your event.

* Dill Dinkers reserves the right to move higher-ranked teams off of the waitlist and replace lower-ranked teams scheduled for the event. Dill Dinkers does not plan to replace teams in Open Play within one Month of the Event Date. Fully paid teams that are bumped from the Open Division will be placed in the next lower event, and the difference between their Open Play event fee and the new event fee will be refunded to them. If there are no spots available at an appropriate skill level, the bumped Open Play players will receive a full refund (including the Pickleball Brackets event fee of $5).

Games are on. All 9am matches will start at 9am.
