FORMAT

Round Robin leading to double elimination knockout draws. Goal is to maximize play and minimize delay!

Round Robin Events will be games to 9 or 11, win by 1, cap 12

Elimination Rounds will be games to 11, win by 2 (no cap)

Bronze Medal Matches - 1 game to 15, win by 2 (no cap)

Gold Medal Matches - 1 game to 15, win by 2 (no cap)

**If time constraints occur, we will have Medal games to 11 points, win by 2 (cap at 13)

Age is based on age as of December 31, 2023

Registration will open on May 5th at 9:00 am. Code is required to register

Registration Closes on June 20th, 2023

Registration Fee: $25

An online PCO waiver will be used for registration

REGISTERING FOR AN EVENT

The skill level of players is determined by the data in the players Pickleball Brackets profile. The priority for determining a player's skill level is their Canadian Tournament Player Rating (CTPR). If that is lacking then their Pickleball Brackets rating, and if that is lacking their Pickleball Brackets self-rating. When registering for a skill level, eg. 4.0 at least one of the players must be rated at the skill level of the event. Note: a 3.5 and a 4.0 player are eligible to play

This is a Pickleball Canada non-sanctioned event. All players MUST be a Pickleball Canada member in good standing to play in this Event. Please ensure your Pickleball Canada Membership number and your skill level are up to date in your pickleballbrackets.com profile before registering for this tournament. If you are not a Pickleball Canada member, you can become a member at https://pickleballcanada.org/

Registration is online only at https://pickleballbrackets.com/. Registration is not complete until BOTH partners have registered, agreed to the online waiver, and PAID in full. Online payment via Pickleball Brackets STRIPE account. Please note: Pickleball Brackets Stripe account accepts credit card payments. When the maximum per event is reached based on fully registered/paid teams, others will be added to the waitlist.

All players must complete their registration by June 15th, 8:00 am, or they could potentially be placed on the Waitlist. A player may enter as a team or look under "Players Needing Partners" to find a partner.

COMPLETE means, the waiver has been agreed to, the registration is paid in full and your partner needs to be registered, the waiver agreed to and paid in full as well.

Event Ball: Franklin X40

Paddles: USAPA approved Paddles only

Officiating: Matches, when possible, will be refereed. Our goal is to have all medal games refereed.

Clothing: If player is wearing clothing that is the same colour as the ball, they may be asked to change apparel by the Tournament Director.

In the case of inclement weather or other unforeseen issues between June 24th that prevent play, only those participants who did not play in ANY event will be refunded their registration & event fees, minus a $5.00 administration fee.

In the case that inclement weather occurs during one of the tournament event dates which causes all events on that specific date to be cancelled then that tournament date will be rescheduled to another date, and no refunds will be issued.

Although parking is free, there are often other events going on at the same time therefore parking can be hard to come by. Arrive early to allow time for parking, check-in and warm-up. Street parking is available.

Casino Parking (next door) is available for overflow.

Refund Policy

Registrants withdrawing before June 20th, 2023, 9:00pm will be refunded registration & event fees minus a $8 administration fee. There will be absolutely NO refunds after June 20tt, 2023 11:00 pm for player cancellations or withdraws.
