Welcome to The Grove's Dallas Moneyball Powered By Selkirk Sport!
This tournament features men's and mixed 20-team brackets with a total purse of $1,600 per bracket and is available for anyone that wants to compete.
The mixed bracket will take place on August 3rd (Saturday) and the men's bracket will taken place on August 4th (Sunday). Start time for both the mixed and men's bracket is 8am.
This is a single-elimination doubles bracket where the format is a traditional best-of-three with games to 11; there is no consolation bracket.
Teams competing in the mixed bracket must have a combined Doubles DUPR of 8.3 or lower to qualify.
Teams competing in the men's bracket must have a combined Doubles DUPR of 9.5 or lower to qualify.
Teams in the men's and mixed bracket must have a combined Doubles DUPR of 9.5 and 8.3 or lower to qualify, respectively; team DURP will be verified the day of registration. If an individual does not have a Doubles DUPR, they will be assigned a 4.3 DUPR rating.
***self-entered matches will be manually reversed when calculating for a teams DUPR, this is done to prevent people from dropping their DUPR score to be eligible***
All games will be entered into DUPR.
The cost for each team is $200 ($100/individual).
1st place team - $1000
2nd place team - $400
3rd place team - $200
All prizes will be paid out in cash/check.
If the tournament does not fill up the prize pool will adjust accordingly (e.g. if only 10 teams sign up, 1st place receives $500, 2nd place receives $200, and 3rd place receives $100).
