Colorado Open - Pikes Peak or Bust is an Age/Skill tournament for ALL Ages 10-90 including a Senior division for 50+ players. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed and Wheelchair Doubles, Singles and Hybrid. After registration closes, events will be split into 5 year age/skill groups for medaling purposes. Age groups/skill levels may be combined for bracketing.

ALL EVENT BRACKET DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR EVENTS 3-5 days BEFORE actual day of play AND Also the MORNING of ACTUAL PLAY. Withdrawals and Late additions may Change your Bracket the night before Play.

Registration is $45, plus $10 for each event through July 15. Starting July 16, Registration is $55, plus $10 for each event till registration closes July 31. USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount. Free Practice Thursday, August 14, 4:30 - 6:30 pm.

The tournament will remain open until the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.

Brackets/Events will be Round Robin format with the top 4 teams moving on to a Medal round. The top 2 teams from Round Robin rounds will play for Gold and the 3rd and 4th place teams will play for Bronze. For events with large numbers of teams (usually 8 or more), there will be pool play with single elimination Medal Round to follow (1 and 2 play for Gold, 3 and 4 play for Bronze as just described). Players are guaranteed 3 matches per event. More play for your money.

No membership in any association is required for registration.

This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved and is a USSP Circuit Event giving USSP members who are medal winners access to year end prizes. USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year. Each year prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10 point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle. I

Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks before the tournament registration closing. Please withdraw by midnight July 16 for a refund which will be refunded the week After tournament ends. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee. Emergency refunds will be issued based on documentation and tournament director approval.

This is an Indoor tournament. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR WEATHER RELATED EVENTS.
