Join us for Clash at the Comal, a high-energy pickleball tournament happening April 28–30, 2025, at The Cranky Pickle in New Braunfels, Texas!

This event features Men’s Doubles, Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles and is open to all levels of play. The Cranky Pickle is one of the top pickleball venues in Texas, with a fully stocked pro shop, refreshments on-site, and an unbeatable tournament atmosphere.

To maintain fair and competitive play, we will verify all player ratings using Pickleball Brackets and DUPR. If you’ve registered for a division outside your rating, your placement may be adjusted.

📝 SCORE REPORTING

All match results will be reported to Pickleball Brackets and DUPR, giving players credit on both platforms.

🧑‍⚖️ REFEREES

Pickleball Power Play will have roaming referees on-site. Referees are trained to enforce the rules, call kitchen faults, and ensure a fair and smooth experience for all players. This will be reviewed again during the Player Orientation.

Q: What if I don’t have a rating?

A: No worries! Use the Self-Rate option in your Pickleball Brackets account to choose the division that best matches your level. Please be honest—sandbagging is not tolerated and can result in being banned from future Power Play events.

Need help selecting a division? Reach out to us directly—we’re happy to assist!

Q: Do I need a partner?

A: Yes, you’ll need a partner to compete. If you don’t have one yet, register anyway and we’ll place you on our Partners Needed List so other players can reach out to team up.

At Pickleball Power Play, our pricing model is designed to help us create the best possible tournament experience for all players. To help fill divisions and ensure competitive, well-balanced brackets, we may release promotional discounts at various times.

We understand that some players may register at full price before a discount is announced. If this happens, you're welcome to submit a request for a potential credit toward a future event.

Please note:

Credits are not guaranteed and are based on the tournament’s fee structure

Discounts cannot be applied retroactively

No refunds or withdrawals will be granted to re-register using a discount

🚫 WITHDRAWAL & REFUND POLICY

🗓️ Refund Deadline: April 1, 2025

The last day to request a refund for this tournament is April 1, 2025. Any refund requests made after this date will not be eligible for reimbursement — no exceptions.

📌 Please Note:

All refunds are subject to a $10 administrative fee

The original $5 processing fee is non-refundable

Refunds requested before April 1 will be issued minus the above fees

We appreciate your understanding as we work to deliver a smooth and competitive tournament experience for everyone involved. If you need to request a refund before the deadline, please reach out to our tournament team directly.

$65 event fee for this event $60 from each player will go back to the WINNERS. 100% of it minus the service fees!

Depending on how many teams register "Payouts" will go as follows:

4 Teams - 1st place 100% ($250 each)

5 or 6 Teams - 1st place 70% and 2nd place 30% ($210 each to 1st, $90 each to 2nd and more if 6 Teams)

7 or 8 Teams - 1st place 50%, 2nd place 30%, and 3rd place 20% ($210 each to 1st, $126 each to 2nd, $84 each to 3rd and more if 8 Teams)
