CITYPICKLE NEW YEAR’S OPEN PICKLEBALL TOURNAMENT

Step onto the courts in sunny West Palm Beach for the CityPickle New Year’s Open, a tournament designed to bring together players of all skill levels with two competitive divisions: Intermediate and Advanced. This event promises a full day of high-energy matches, camaraderie, and the thrill of the game.

The tournament kicks off with a round-robin stage, where every participant is guaranteed at least four matches to showcase their skills and rack up points. From there, the competition heats up as the top eight players in each division advance to a knockout bracket, vying for the championship title and ultimate bragging rights.

Format:

Type: Round-Robin and Medal Matches

Matches: Minimum of 4 matches per division

Size: Each division will be limited to 15 teams

Winners: Medals awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place teams

We will be reviewing all player ratings 1 week before registration closes. The tournament director reserves the right to move players based on playing history to ensure a fair and balanced tournament.

A full refund will be issues if withdraw is completed before 1/1/25. No refunds after 1/1/25. The Pickleball brackets fee of $5 per player will not be refunded regardless of date of cancellation.

In lieu of cash, each player from the winning team will receive a Joola 3s paddle of their choosing. (Retail value of $280 per paddle).

In the event of rain on January 12th, 2025 the tournament will move to the following Sunday January 19th, 2025.
