The Fredericton Pickleball Club tournament committee is hosting a pickleball tournament on June 29, 2024, starting at 8:30 AM. Registration will open through PickleballBrackets.com on June 1, 2024.

It’s Canada Day weekend, so don’t forget to show your patriotic pride by wearing red and white and other fun Canadian accessories. Please ensure your holiday accessories do not hinder your play or your opponents.

• This tournament is for Fredericton Pickleball Club members, however, on a case-by-case basis we may allow other players to register, especially if the target of 48 players is not reached or if there are operational considerations.

• The purpose of this tournament to have fun as a club, practice operations before Provincials and raise funds for tournament equipment.

• There are 11 courts for mixed doubles play.

• At least 48 players, or 24 teams, must register to go forward with the tournament and ensure we break even.

• While this is a Pickleball Brackets Tournament, your CTPR rating will not be changed by this tournament. Your FPC club rating will only be updated if all 4 players in the game are FPC members in Pickleball Brackets.

• Players can choose from the following skill ratings. If you have never played in a tournament before, this is a great opportunity to learn more about tournaments while having fun.

3.0 and under (2.50-3.49)

3.5 (3.50-3.99)

4.0 and above

• Age categories:

55 and under

56 and above

• Brackets will be merged if there are fewer than three teams in any bracket.

• The organizing committee reserves the right to make other changes to any of the brackets based on the number of registrants and age categories

• Start times may vary by bracket – players need to check the tournament details one week prior.

• The format is round robin.

$25.00 per person for the day.

Fun prizes will be awarded to the top three teams.
