This Men's, Women's and Mixed Doubles Pickleball tournament is a fund-raising event for Camelot for Children. It is a single day event on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Mixed Doubles events were just added on 4/22/24. You can play in two events: Mixed Doubles and either Men's or Women's doubles. There will be different time slots for the mixed events by skill level so you will be able to play in two events, if you want to play a lot of pickleball.

Camelot for Children is a non-profit organization providing year-round social and educational opportunities to children with disabilities and chronic or terminal illnesses in a supportive, developmentally appropriate enriching environment in order to make the magic of childhood accessible to children with unique needs.

The event will be held at Grange Park in Allentown, PA on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Some brackets may begin as early as 8am. There will be dedicated courts assigned to each bracket so play will be continuous and last approximately 3.5-4hrs to complete. Start times for each bracket will be announced at a later date.

The format of the tournament will be a round robin with playoffs. Top 4 teams in the bracket will make the single elimination playoff round. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners in each event.

Both players on your team must register for the tournament. Registration fee is $55 per person and a $10 event fee for amateur (3.0-4.0). The Pro/Open 4.5 Men's doubles bracket will have a $20 event fee with the additional money going towards prize money. Pickleball brackets also charges a $5 per event fee. The $5 pickleball bracket fee is non-refundable and paid directly to pickleball brackets.

Once you register for an event, your partner must register within 7 days or your team will be moved to the waitlist. Registration of your team is not complete until both players register and pay for their event. If your team is moved to the waitlist, you will be moved to the active list once paid and the event is not full.

There is a limited number of teams per skill level and age bracket and events may fill up fast so to guarantee a spot in the tournament register in a timely manner.

If you register without a partner, you will have 7 days to remain in the event without a partner before being moved to the waitlist.

Grange Park is an outdoor pickleball facility located in Upper Macungie Twp. There are 12 permanent pickleball courts with lights. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstances occur, Camelot for Children pickleball group and Tournament Director will do all it can to play matches.

This is a non-sanctioned tournament but there will be referees on all medal matches. USAPA Official tournament rules apply. Matches that do not have referees will be called by the players. Any situation that cannot be resolved by the players on the court, should be directed to the Tournament Director who will be located at the score table desk.

For this doubles tournament, both players must register within 7 days. If the second player does not register within 7 days, their team will be placed on the waitlist automatically by the system. Emails will go out to both players when this happens. There are limited spots available for this tournament.

The Tournament Director has the authority to make any changes to the tournament, if necessary.

This is a charity event so there will be NO refunds.

The funds collected via pickleball brackets minus administrative fees, prize money for 4.5 Pro Open bracket and pickleball bracket fees will be donated to Camelot for Children.

The Men's Doubles Open (4.5+) bracket will have prize money. The additional $10 per player for the event fee will fund the prize money. Prize money will go to 1st and 2nd place winners. Medals will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
