Howdy Brownwood Pickleball Classic players!

We are excited to announce our second annual Brownwood Pickleball Classic tournament here at Coggin Park hosted by Brownwood Pickleball Club and Victory Road Pickleball!

REGISTRATION DATES: Feb 1st - Sep 19th

$35 Early Registration Deadline: Jul 31st, 2024

Extended Early Registration: Aug 8th - Aug 15th

$50 Registration Deadline: Sep 19th, 2024

$65 Post-Registration Deadline (if available) from Sep 20-26th, 2024

$15 Per Event Fee (MD, WD, MxD, MSS, WSS, Doubles Scramble etc.)

FREE T-shirt comes w/registration. Free T-shirt deadline is Sep 19th, and correct sizes must be entered in your player profile by Sep 19th, 2024!

Thu, Oct 3rd - Senior Men's & Senior Women's Doubles (50+,60+,70+,80+)

Fri, Oct 4th - Senior Mixed Doubles (50+,60+,70+, 80+)

Sat, Oct 5th - Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles (8+,19+,35+), Men's & Women's Doubles Scramble (8+,19+,35+)

Sun, Oct 6th - Mixed Doubles & Skinny Singles (8+,19+,35+)

AGE SPLITS

Thu/Fri SENIORS - 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+

Sat/Sun ALL AGES - 8+,19+,35+

*Skill and Age bracket splits developed after registration deadline.

*Cannot play Gender Doubles plus Gender Scramble Doubles. (Scramble play is a fun event for those with no partner. This bracket is Round Robin only. No Playoffs)

*ALL AGES can play Sat/Sun but there are only three EVENTS: 8+,19+,35+

*Actual match start times will be provided once brackets are developed at or near registration deadline Sep Sept 15th.

Tournament Director has the right to combine skill/age brackets based on skill/age team numbers.

MATCH FORMAT

ROUND ROBIN with top THREE or more seeded teams advancing to the SE playoff for Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals (for a non-pool event).

NON-POOL PLAY

Brackets of 3 may be DOUBLE ROUND ROBIN with each game 1 to 15 by 2.

Brackets of 4 may be ROUND ROBIN with each match best 2 of 3 games to 11 by 2 or 1 game 1 to 15 by 2.

Brackets of 5-7 may be ROUND ROBIN with each game 1 to 15 by 2.

POOL PLAY

-If an event has 8 or more players (Singles) or doubles teams, the event may be divided into two or more pools with the seeded teams after round robin from each pool advancing to the SE playoffs formatted at games of 1 to 15 by 2.

-The teams advancing to finals will play for Gold/Silver & Bronze with best 2 of 3 games to 11 by 2.

No membership in any association is required for registration.

Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks before the tournament registration closing date.

ALL refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee. Refunds after registration deadline will be based on a case-by-case basis, usually IMMEDIATE FAMILY emergencies or EMPLOYMENT requirements.

THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS. IN CASE OF WEATHER DELAYS, AN ATTEMPT TO PLAY ALL MATCHES SCHEDULED FOR THAT DAY WILL BE MADE OR MOVED TO FOLLOWING AVAILABLE TOURNAMENT DAYS.
