The Bounce Open is a Pickleball is Life tournament being held Sept 27-29, 2024 in Malvern, PA. Bounce Pickleball is collaborating with Pickleball Is Life to bring this tournament together at their amazing indoor venue with 14 courts. Men's & Women's singles will be Friday Sept 27, Men's & Women's doubles will be Saturday Sept 28, and Mixed doubles will be Sunday Sept 29. There are skill (2.5 to 4.5) and age (9-49, 50-59, 60+) brackets for all events including a Pro 4.5+ and Senior Pro 4.5+ (50+) brackets with prize money! $65 registration includes a tournament shirt and medals and prizes (paddles, bags, gift certificates and other gear) from our sponsors for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Amateur singles, doubles and mixed doubles skill/age events are $20 each. Pro and Senior Pro singles, doubles, and mixed doubles events are $60 each with $40 going to prize money.

At all Pickleball is Life tournaments we:

- Submit results to DUPR.

- Live stream multiple courts on YouTube www.youtube.com/@PickleballisLife.

- Have a well stocked hospitality table with snacks, fruit, and water.

- Players can choose a short sleeve shirt, racerback, muscle shirt, long sleeve shirt or quarter zip.

- Winners will receive medals and gifts from our sponsors including paddles, pickleball bags, water bottles and other gear.

- There will be referees for Pro and Senior Pro matches and most amateur medal matches. This is not a sanctioned tournament.

- We accept Venmo, PayPal, Zelle and Credit Cards payments.

Bracket Size - Bracket Formats: (for singles its players instead of teams)

4 teams - Round Robin, each team will get 6 matches with each match two games to 11 win by 2.

5 teams - Round Robin, each team will get 4 matches with each match one game to 15 win by 2.

6 teams - Round Robin, each team will get 5 matches with each match one game to 11 win by 2.

Round robins may have a playoff round, format decided by the tournament director.

7 and higher teams will play double elimination with the consolation draw able to win gold.

For brackets with 3 or less teams, the tournament director will need to combine brackets by age and/or skill level to make the bracket viable.

Refunds are available for registration and event fees minus the refund fees described below if canceled before the cancellation deadline of 8/27/24. Refund requests made after that date and before 9/24/24 will be granted minus a $25 processing fee to cover the purchase of shirts, medals, balls, etc. and minus the refund fees described below. No refunds on or after 9/24/24. Brackets may be combined by age and/or skill at the discretion of the tournament director and no refunds are available when this occurs, however the tournament director may offer a partial refund if there is no way to combine brackets minus the refund fees described below. REFUND FEES: ALL refunds will minus any PayPal/Venmo/CC processing fees and the PickleballBrackets Software Fee. The PickleballBrackets Software Fee is non-refundable as stated at checkout. Refunds will be issued as quickly as possible, but could occur after the conclusion of the tournament. This is an indoor event so most weather events will not affect the tournament, however there is no refund for an unforeseen circumstance (flood, power outage, etc.) and the tournament coordinators will do all they can to play matches. If brackets are in mid play when an unforeseen circumstance occurs the situation will be evaluated on a case by case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined. There are no alternate dates.
