Welcome to the 2025 Bluegrass State Games Pickleball Tournament!

Men's and Women's 65+ events will play on Friday morning (subject to sufficient registrations.) Teams with both players age 65 or over can choose to play in the dedicated 65+ event on Friday morning, or they can play in the Under 65 Men's and Women's events on Sunday. They will not be able to play in both. The remaining Men's and Women's skill level events on Sunday will still be split by age. If you choose to play on Sunday, the oldest bracket will be 50+.

Men's and Women's Singles will begin on Friday at 12:00 noon (7/25). Mixed Doubles will play on Saturday (7/26). Men's and Women's Doubles (all other ages) will play on Sunday (7/27).

Men's, Women's, and Mixed Doubles events will be a Round Robin with a minimum of four teams advancing to a Single Elimination finals. Advancement will be determined by win-loss record. Ties will be resolved by head-to-head record, point differential, total points scored, and coin flip, in that order. If a team withdraws during round robin play without completing all matches, their previous matches will be voided for the purposes of determining which teams advance from the pool.

The tournament reserves the right to modify event formats and to merge or cancel events as needed if an insufficient number of teams register for a given event.

Paddle statement: The Bluegrass State Games will be following USAP rules. This includes players not using unapproved paddles. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Please note: Women's and Men's Doubles (other than 65+) will be played on Sunday. Mixed doubles will be played on Saturday.

With apologies, pets are strictly prohibited on the grounds at Spindletop. This rule is imposed by the venue, not the tournament directors or Bluegrass Sports Commission. Trained service animals are allowed.

Food will be available for purchase at the Barn and the Tiki Hut. Outside food vendors are not permitted.

No refunds for withdrawals after July 18, 2025. In the event of rescheduling due to weather, no refunds will be given to players that cannot make the new date.

In the event of weather delays or other unforeseen circumstances, event formats may be modified. No refunds will be given based on displeasure with the modified format.

An athletic trainer will be on-site to assist with injuries and illnesses.
