Blaze will be hosting its final tournament in its current Guilford location. ONE MEMBER OF EACH TEAM MUST HAVE MEDALED AT A PREVIOUS BLAZE TOURNAMENT TO PARTICIPATE.
Tournament Events:
Men's and Women's Doubles - Saturday, April 27th - All Day Starting at 8:00 AM
Mixed Doubles - Sunday, April 28th - All day starting at 8:00 AM
This is a Skill Level/Age Group Tournament. Registration is by skill level.
Medalists are able to sign up for events with the same partner as the player they medaled with or another player. For doubles and mixed doubles, both players must sign up at the skill level of the higher rated partner through PickleballBrackets.com. If the medalist chooses to play with a player other than the one they medaled with, both players must sign up at the skill level of the medalist.
Ratings will be verified. The tournament reserves the right to move players and teams between skill level brackets.
Events may be split by age depending on the bracket size. Teams will be moved into the age bracket of the younger player.
For a guaranteed spot in mixed doubles or doubles, the second partner must sign up within 7 days of the first partner's registration. Incomplete teams will be moved to the waiting list after that. Once the second partner registers, they will be moved back into the event IF THERE ARE SPOTS LEFT IN THE TOURNAMENT AND THE EVENT.
The tournament format will be a round robin followed by playoffs for the top 4 teams for ALL events.
All events require 4 teams to be held. Any event with less than 4 teams will be cancelled.
The registration fee is $50 for the first event and $20 for each additional event. There is a non-refundable PickleballBrackets.com software use fee of $5 for one event or $10 for more than one event that will be applied to every registration.
