Berwick Retirement Communities and the University of Victoria are pleased to partner with VRPA for the inaugural Women's Tournament.

This beginner-friendly, entry-level tournament will take place on Saturday, April 13, at UVic's CARSA gym.

Early Registration until March 16 - $45

After March 16 - $50 registration.

Skill divisions will be:

Women's Doubles 2.5 and below, age 49 and below Start time 8:30

Women's Doubles 2.5 and below, age 50 and above - Start time 8:30

Women's Doubles 3.25 and under, age 58 and below - Start time 9:30

Women's Doubles 3.25 and under, age 59 to 63 Start time 12:00

Women's Doubles 3.25 and under, 64 and above Start time 1:00

Register with a partner (though the option will be available to register as "needing a partner", and allowing people to contact you.

The Tournament Director reserves the right to combine divisions or create additional divisions as required, depending on registrations. Our goal is to provide the most competitive and fun divisions as possible. You may choose to play in the lower age category if you wish (ex: a 45 year-old and a 55 year-old may both play in the under 49 category).

Tournament Director reserves the right to change start times based on registrations.

Tournament format will be round robin, with top teams in each pool proceeding to playoffs.

Minimum 4 games per event are guaranteed.

Tournament ball will be yellow Franklin X-26 indoor

All paddles must be on the USAPA approved list. It is the players responsibility to check the list which can be found here: https://pickleballcanada.org/tournaments/approved-paddles-and-balls/

There will be live demonstrations and skill building sessions throughout the day on two dedicated courts.

Tournament Director reserves the right to refuse entry to any player.

*NOTE - PickleballBrackets.com has implemented a new service fee of $5/event to a maximum of $10. This fee does not go to the Tournament Organizers and is not refundable in any circumstances. This is outside of the Tournament Director's control.

Withdrawal deadline is April 3. No refunds will be given after that date. Withdrawals prior to that date are subject to a $5 administration fee. No refunds will be issued until after the completion of the tournament.

Your spot is not guaranteed in your event until both partners are registered and paid in full. Both partners on the team have five days to register and pay or you will be moved to the waiting list.
