Join us at the beautiful, high tech, newly opened Ascent Pickleball for our Inaugural Summer Bash!

Ascent Pickleball has 6 indoor professionally installed Laykold cushioned pickleball courts. We are also in the process of installing 3 outdoor covered courts with the same Laykold cushioning system to be completed sometime this summer (before the tournament). The initial team max per event is 6 teams. However, if we have divisions that don't fill, we can take teams of the waitlist to make groupings of more than 6 teams.

Event start times will be posted/emailed 3-4 days prior to the tournament.

All divisions in this tournament will round robin, to ensure all participants receive adequate play!

Any divisions of 3 or less will be combined with another division.

Format for each group size is as follows:

Group of 4: Matches best 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2 followed by a 1 round playoff.

Group of 5: Games to 15, win by 2 followed by a 1 round playoff.

Group of 6: Games to 15, win by 2. Top 2 teams play for gold, 3 and 4 play for bronze, 5 and 6 are out.

Group of 7: Games to 11, win by 2. Top 2 teams play for gold, 3 and 4 play for bronze, 5, 6 and 7 are out.

Groups of 8+ will be split into multiple pools. Pools will play round robins individually with top 1 or 2 teams from each pool moving to playoffs (depending on pool size)

Event Schedule:

Friday, August 15th: Men's and Women's singles

Saturday, August 16th: Men's Doubles and Women's Doubles

Sunday, August 17th: Mixed Doubles

To receive best possible pricing, sign up early!

Registration fee is $50 if done before June 15 (plus $15 per event)

Registration fee is $60 if done between June 15 and July 15 (plus $15 per event)

Registration fee is $70 if done AFTER July 15 (plus $15 per event)

Ascent is a DUPR affiliated facility and DUPR ratings will be used for registration and sign-ups. All matches will be reported to DUPR to add to your overall rating. If you don't have a DUPR rating, you will have one after this tournament. Please visit mydupr.com to make a free account. You must create an account to play in this tournament. If you don’t have a DUPR rating, you will need to self-rate. The tournament director will be reviewing and may move players to a more appropriate skill level.

YOUR REGISTRATION IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL YOU HAVE FULLY PAID, WAIVER SIGNED AND PARTNER REGISTERED AND PAID. IF YOU ARE NOT FULLY PAID WHEN THE EVENT FILLS, YOU WILL BE MOVED TO THE WAIT LIST. Your partner has 4 days to register and pay from the time you pay or your partner will be automatically moved to the wait list.

PARTNER REPLACEMENT POLICY

After registration is closed, any registered player losing a partner must replace that partner with an already registered player. The replacement partner must be in the same skill/age group that you are scheduled to play. Players can play down in age and up in skill. Replacements needs to communicate to the registration desk 2 days before you are scheduled to play. Replacements can be found on the players needing partners list.

Rules you need to know in advance.

• No campers, tents, or cars overnight in the plaza parking lot.

• No Pets (This is strictly enforced!)

• No outside food or drinks-

• No smoking or vaping other than parking lots.

Facilities:

• Rest room facilities and showers on site

• Water fountains

• Water bottle refill station

• Tents can be put up only in grass areas and 10 ft away from the parking lot and sidewalks. No tents or chairs on parking lot. Tents must be taken down daily.

• On site restaurant, bar and concessions will be open for players and participants at their own expense.
