Welcome to the 1st open pickleball tournament at the beautiful Amberwood Village Golf and Country Club in Stittsville (west end of Ottawa, ON). At Amberwood, you will find a well-groomed public golf course, 8 pickleball courts, 1 tennis court, a newly refurbished salt water pool, the Amberwood Lounge and Eatery (ALE) and winter activities.
All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 4 games to 15 points per event. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded based on the playoff results. This tournament is not sanctioned, but is a great practice opportunity for teams heading to the national championships the following week. The Franklin X-40 outdoor ball will be the official ball used for all games.
Given the popularity of events at the 3.5 skill level, men's and women's doubles 3.5 have two age options available (all ages, and age 50+). For teams at the 3.5 skill level where both players are age 50+, they can choose to play either event (all ages or age 50+), or can choose to play both events (e.g. if a team of two women aged 55 are interested, they can register for both Women’s 3.5 all ages as well as Women’s 3.5 age 50+)
REGISTRATION COST:
$42 for 1 pickleball event (includes $10 voucher to ALE)
$57 for 2 pickleball events (includes $10 voucher to ALE)
$72 for 3 pickleball events (includes $10 voucher to ALE)
