Come out and support the Alzheimer's Association at the Longest Day Tournament! Hosted at Rocket City Pickleball Club, a premier indoor pickleball facility with 10 cushion courts. Lunch will be provided and a tournament t-shirt is included with the registration cost.

This tournament will have events for 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5+ skill levels. We will have Men's, Women's and Mixed events for each skill level at the 16-49 and 50+ age ranges. Gender Doubles will take place on Saturday, June 21 and Mixed Doubles will be on Sunday, June 22.

The format will be pool play games to 15 win by 2, with the top teams advancing to a single elimination bracket playing best 2 out of 3 games to 11 win by 2 for the medal rounds.

Registration is $35 for the 1st event if registered before June 9th. It will be $45 for the 1st event after. Each additional event is $15. (PickleballTournaments also has a $10 non-refundable fee.)

The Longest Day is a signature initiative of the Alzheimer’s Association inspired by the longest day of the year and the day with the most light – the summer solstice. Participants help to outshine the darkness of Alzheimer’s and dementia year-round by turning their hobbies and passions into fundraisers for the care, support, and research efforts of the Alzheimer’s Association.

The money raised helps to fund our local care and support services, like our 24/7 helpline, caregiver support groups, and disease education programs across the state. It also helps fund vital research. The Alzheimer’s Association funds research at multiple locations throughout Alabama, including Hudson Alpha, Auburn University, the University of South Alabama, and the University of Alabama - Birmingham.

If you withdraw 2 weeks or more before the tournament date you will receive a full refund. If you withdraw within 2 weeks of the tournament start date you will receive a 50% refund.
