Courtside Pickleball and Tennis Club is excited to host the 4th annual June Bug tournament in Dover, Delaware, June 15th and 16th. Teams will be divided by skill and age, but final brackets will not be determined until the close of registration. Saturday will be Men’s and Women's Doubles and Sunday will be Mixed Doubles. We will be awarding medals to the top 3 teams in each bracket.

FORMAT:

Brackets with 5 or more teams will be double-elimination

Winner’s Bracket Matches – 2 of 3 games to 11, win by 2

Opportunity Bracket Matches – 1 game to 15, win by 2

Bronze Medal Matches - 1 game to 15, win by 2

Gold Medal Matches - 2 of 3 games to 11, win by 2. If survivor’s bracket winner wins the 2 of 3 match, a final 15 point, win by 2 game will be played to determine the Gold medal winner

Brackets with 4 or fewer teams will be round robin

Each match will be best 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2

Players are guaranteed to play at least 3 games

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:

Courts will be open for practice Friday from 5-8PM

You may bring chairs and coolers. We will have a food truck on-site for lunch on Saturday & Sunday.

REFUND POLICY:

Refunds will be issued only to those who cancel before the close of registration.

This year we have Money Brackets!!!

The bracket(s) cost an additional $60 and have a 10 team minimum.

Prize money for 4.5+ Money Bracket Events:

1st place: $600 per team

2nd place: $300 per team

3rd place: $150 per team

INCLEMENT WEATHER:

This is an outdoor facility. If weather becomes an issue, we will do all we can to play matches while ensuring the safety of our players and volunteers. There are no make-up days or refunds if we are unable to play.
