Relax on the beautiful Island of Puerto Rico. Book an extended weekend and hang on the beach, do some snorkeling, enjoy great meals and play lots of Pickleball.
There will be fun, food for purchase, and music. FREE Snacks and water for Players Only. T-Shirt and Swag Bag for first 300 players to check-in to the events. Dinner/DJMusic on Saturday night for Players and their spouse.
SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:
Fri, Mar 22 – Tournament Day 1, Singles, 4pm – until end of last game
Sat, Mar 23 – Tournament Day 2, WD 8am and MD 2pm – until end of last game
Sat, Mar 23 – Beer Happy Hour at 4pm
Sun, Mar 24 – Tournament Day 3, MX 8am and 50+/60+ 2pm – until end of last game
Sun, Mar 24 – Beer Happy Hour at 4pm
A USA Pickleball Certified Referee will be present at the venue to answer player questions and address on-court issues. Referees will be available for Medal Matches.
The tournament will be a round robin format playing to 15 win by 2. Medal Matches will be will be single elimination playing to 15 win by 2. FINALS will be single elimination playing 2 out of 3 games to 11, win by 2.
PLEASE NOTE:
Tournament director reserves the option to combine brackets as needed if brackets do not fill. If brackets are combined to create playable brackets, awards will be based on the original division and not the combined bracket.
The tournament director reserves the right to cancel or modify the events and/or schedule as needed pending influences beyond our control (eg. Insufficient numbers in Events, Weather, etc).
Food and beverage will be available for purchase on site.
All players must wear appropriate country club attire. That is, no tank tops, nor sleeveless shirts for men and no sports bras or bathing suits for women. Palmas Athletic Club's Rules and Regulations MUST be followed at all times. Palmas Athletic Club reserves the right to enforce it's Rules and Regulations to the point that if a player is in non compliance, he/she may be expelled from the premises.
