IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Tournament merger and venue change

We are excited to announce that the 2nd Annual Strong House Pickleball Tournament is merging with the West Georgia Pickleball PATL Royal Tournament. This change will allow us to provide a more competitive tournament with the opportunity for players to compete against a larger pool with more evenly matched players. All proceeds from those who registered for and sponsored the Strong House Tournament will still benefit the Strong House Foundation and support their work with at-risk youth in the West Georgia area.

All registrations for the Strong House Tournament will be migrated to the PATL Royal Tournament by the tournament director. No further action will be required if you completed your registration. To facilitate this merger we have closed registration for the Strong House tournament. If you would like to register for the merged tournament please visit the PATL Royal tournament page on pickleballbrackets.com.

The merged tournament will be held at the new Pickleball At The Lake complex located at 116 Lumpkin Drive, Carrollton, GA 30117.

###SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT ### New this year we will include the “Big Dill” Shootout. The Big Dill Shootout is a special open event taking place during the 2nd Annual Strong House Foundation Pickleball Tournament. It will be a “winner take all” format in both women’s and men’s singles with cash prizes. While this is an any age/any skill event we expect some of the top players in the area to bring their A game and prove they really are a Big Dill.

Come join us for the Second Annual Strong House Foundation Pickleball Tournament. This is a charity tournament benefiting the Strong House Foundation. The Strong House Foundation is a Christ-centered, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization focused on improving the lives of at-risk and economically-challenged youth in the West Georgia area. Through early intervention, the Strong House Foundation works to redirect the paths of these children with love, encouragement, and support.

Last year's tournament was a great success and this year's event should be even better. With player swag bags, great facilities and challenging competition you will feel like a pro when you step on the court.

We will have food concessions and plenty of seating for spectators so bring your friends and family to cheer you on and support this worthy cause.

$100.00 awarded to the winners of the Big Dill Shootout events.

RELEASE, PERMISSION, AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

By registering for this tournament, you agree to the below stated.

Release. In consideration of being permitted to participate in any way in any Haralson United Pickleball Club events,

I, for myself, my heirs or assigns, hereby release, waive, discharge and covenant not to sue Haralson United Pickleball Club as well as their officers, employees and agents from liability from any and all claims resulting in personal injuries, death, accidents, illnesses (such as communicable diseases including COVID-19), and property loss arising from, but not limited to, participation in the Event.

Assumption of Risk. Participation in the Event carries with it certain inherent risks that cannot be eliminated regardless of the care taken to avoid injuries. The specific risks vary but include 1) minor injuries such as bruises, sprains and dehydration, 2) major injuries such as eye injuries, joint or back injuries, heat stroke, heart attacks, and concussions, and 3) catastrophic injuries such as paralysis and death. I have read the previous paragraphs and I know, understand and appreciate these and other risks that are inherent in playing Pickleball. I assert that my participation is voluntary and that I knowingly assume all such risks.

Indemnification and Hold Harmless. I also agree to indemnify and hold Haralson United Pickleball Club and all named above harmless from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, expenses, damages and liabilities, including attorney’s fees brought as a result of my involvement in the Event.

Use Permission. I also give Haralson United Pickleball Club and its agents and designees permission to use or distribute, without limitation or obligation, my image, name, voice, and words for any purpose connected with the Event, including promotional, marketing, training, informational, and archival uses.
