Come join us for the 2nd Annual Parkinson's Awareness Pickleball Tournament. All proceeds will benefit the Parkinson's Foundation Southwest Chapter.
April is both Parkinson’s Awareness Month and Pickleball Month.
Parkinson’s is one of the fastest growing neurological diseases in the world. Pickleball is one of the fastest growing sports in the world. Pickleball is perfect for people with Parkinson's.
Parkinsons Disease is a chronic, degenerative disorder of the central nervous system that affects both the motor and non-motor symptoms. Symptoms include tremor, rigidity, slowness of movement, gait issues, balance issues (fall risk), mild cognitive impairment, difficulty with sleep, constipation and more. The symptoms start out slowly but will continue to progress, there is no cure.

This is a one-day event on April 27, 2025!
10:00AM to 4:30PM
Men's and Women's Doubles will be in the MORNING
Mixed Doubles will be in the EARLY AFTERNOON.
Skill levels will be 2.5 Coed, 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0. This will be a round robin format playing against other teams in their division.
2.5 Co-Ed means you can register a mixed team, a woman's team, or a men's team.

ALL PLAYERS MUST HAVE A PICKLEBALLBRACKETS.COM PROFILE TO REGISTER FOR THIS TOURNAMENT. In your profile you will be able to rate your skill level.
All players must download and register on The Picklr App, choose the Scottsdale location and complete the venue's waiver. You will be able to select your partner when you register.
If a bracket states it is full, sign up under the waitlist. You will not be charged until you are moved into the bracket. We will do our best to bring you into the tournament.
This is a fundraising tournament for Parkinson's Awareness. Great items will be available for a Silent Auction as well as refreshments available for purchase during the tournament.
All net proceeds will be donated directly to the Parkinson's Foundation SW Chapter.
Special Free Event - A skinny court will be reserved for any person with Parkinson's who would like to learn how to play pickleball!
Doctor of Physical Therapy students from Midwestern University and Creighton University will be coaching and will make sure all participants will be safe. Paddles and balls will be provided.
