WE’RE BACK for the 2nd Annual Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Pickleball Festival.

Building on last year’s SOLD OUT event, fantastic participant base and feedback, we look forward to the 2nd edition which promises the same pickleball community-centric environment, great vendors and sponsors, skills competitions, food and more.

Your registration is a charitable donation, and 100 percent of all proceeds support the Johns Hopkins Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center. Last year we had 125 participants and were able to raise a little over $20,000! All proceeds go directly to benefit the patients and families served by the world-class doctors and nurses of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Pediatric Trauma and Burn Center - which is Maryland’s only designated regional pediatric burn center and only accredited pediatric trauma center in the state. The funds raised from this event was able to help offset the cost of treatments for patients and families, provide education and training opportunities for our faculty and staff, and funded our Pediatric Trauma Bootcamp, which was a series of training sessions for pediatric residents to practice caring for trauma patient scenarios.

This year’s event, managed by PickleMeSilly, promises to be bigger and better with the addition of more player openings and classifications for the Saturday and Sunday skill level tournament brackets. New to this year’s event is the Friday “Social Group Play” event. Players registered for events on Saturday and Sunday will be provided lunch on their designated event day, a souvenir t-shirt (select size at registration), and access to the great group of expected vendors.

The Johns Hopkins Children’s Center Pickleball Festival will also serve as a great tune-up event for the May 17-18, 2024 Maryland Senior Olympics. Come out and have a great time supporting a great local cause. For the kids!

Join us for a fun 2-hour Pickleball open play social catering to the beginner and low intermediate skill groups. A fun and relaxing Happy Hour is included in your registration.

High Intermediate/Advanced Social Open Play - Friday 7:00PM - 9:00PM

SATURDAY APRIL 13 & 14 - TOURNAMENT COMPETITION

Cost for tournament play is $50 per player plus a $35 event competition fee. You may play in multiple events, and each additional event is $35.00. A $5.00 Pickelabllbracket.com admin fee is also added to each competition event you sign up for.  For example, if you sign up for 3.0 doubles and 3.0 mixed doubles, your total admin fee is $10.00, and your total costs would be $125 ($50.00 registration fee + $35.00 first competition event fee, +$35.00 additional competition event fee, +$10.00 admin fees = $125.00).  

Actual Start Times will be announced the week prior of your event.

All players are required to read, understand, and sign waiver(s) to be permitted to play in this event. All minors (under 18) must have a legal guardian sign their waiver(s). Waiver's will be posted online or sent to players in advance of the event for your review and completion.

This is an indoor tournament, and will take place in the event of rain. Any other conditions requiring the cancellation or postponement of the event, or any specific bracket, will be communicated to attendees as soon as possible.

The event management is not responsible for teams and or players who do not show for their events and the effect on your bracket, and play schedule or times.
