Tournament Description
WA State’s premier outdoor tournament in fun, festive environment, with perfect PNW summer weather and the company of friends. The Seattle Metro is a favorite of local, regional and traveling players!
FEES:
Registration / per player: $ 80
Skill Event / per event: $ 15
Open Event / per event: $ 40
REGISTRATION RULES (Applies to ALL events, Skill and Open)
~Players can only register for ONE “mixed doubles” and ONE “gender doubles” event. (2 events total for entire tournament)
~Players need to connect their DUPR account to their tournament profile and will use their DUPR rating when registering for the tournament.
~Partner not required at time of registration for any event. (PLEASE read details for limited time before moving to waitlist)
~Payment is required at time of registration.
~Any player that does not have a partner registered with 30 days of their initial registration will be moved
to the waitlist.
~If a player needs to change their partner due to injury or unexpected circumstances, they can do so up to 7 days prior to the start of the tournament. Players needing to change partners need to contact the tournament director to do so.
~Waitlisted teams that are complete will be added to the active roster once space becomes available or if a division is expanded.
We reserve all rights to refuse service for any reason.

*MEN'S DOUBLES OPEN PLAY-IN QUALIFIER REQUIRED FOR ALL TEAMS THAT DO NOT HAVE A DUPR RATING OF 5.0 OR HIGHER
*Due to the limited space at the venue and the high demand to play in the Men's Doubles Open, we will be holding a Men's Doubles Open 12+ Play-In Qualifier event on Friday, July 18th for teams who have a rating of 4.5+ and want a chance to compete in the Men's Doubles Open 12+ event on Sunday, July 20th. The top 4 teams from Friday's qualifier event will move on to compete in Sunday's Open event. The Play-In Qualifier will be double elimination with no medal matches and have a maximum of 16 teams. (Changes to format will be at the discretion of the tournament director) Both players will be required to have a DUPR of at least 4.5.

OPEN DIVISION PLAY AND PAYOUT POLICY
Prizes will be only be awarded and distributed equally amongst Open Divisions, with prizes offered for 1st, 2nd , 3rd and 4th place, so long at the division has a minimum of 8 teams. If the division has less than 8 teams, prizes will be prorated as follows:
8 or more teams in an Open division – Double elimination format. Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place at 100%.
6-7 teams in an Open division – Double elimination or round robin format (tournament director discretion). Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place at 75%.
4 – 5 teams in an Open division - Open division will be either of the following formats (decided by tournament director).
~Play in a Round Robin Format within their division, with prizes awarded at 60%.
~Combine with the other Open division age group. (ie. Combine 50+ and 19+) Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 teams at 100%, so long as the combined divisions have at least 8 teams.
Less than 4 teams – Open division will be combined with the other Open division age group. (ie. Combine 50+ and 19+).
If the combined divisions have at least 8 teams, the format will be double elimination with prizes awarded to the top 3 teams at 100%.
If the combined division is only 6-7 total teams, prizes will be prorated to 75% with format decided by tournament director.
If the combined division is only 4-5 total teams, prizes will be prorated to 60% with round robin format.
Teams in any Open division with less than 4 teams will have the option to withdraw for a full refund.
Refund Policy
$20 Admin fee minimum for all withdrawals
REFUND DEADLINE - July 1st - Deadline to receive a refund for registration or event fees is July 1st.
No refunds will be given after July 1st, unless your event is combined with another age/skill group or cancelled. In this case, the tournament director will contact you to notify of changes and you will have the opportunity to request a refund or stay in your division.
WEATHER CANCELATION POLICY
If any event is cancelled due to weather, there will be up to a 50% refund.
