Tournament Description
The 2025 DC Classic Pickleball Tournament

Notice: The tournament date has changed to April 27, 2025

The fifth year of this tournament will be held INDOORS this year at the Southeast Tennis and Learning Center, DC's premier indoor and outdoor tennis facility.
This tournament is for DC players ages 18+ only and their partners.
Registration Fee: $42.50 for one event, $52.50 for two events through March 31st. The registration fee increases by $10 on April 1st.
Members of the Washington DC Pickleball Club are eligible for a $5 discount. Use the link below to join the Club and request a discount code.
A PickleballBrackets.com software use fee of $5 for one event or $10 for two events will be added to every registration.
If you would like to enter the tournament, you will have to become a member of the DC Classic Pickleball Group to play. Membership in the club is free. Note: This is not the same as the Washington DC Pickleball Club. DC residents, those who regularly play in DC or are signing up as a partner of a DC resident are eligible to join the DC Classic Pickleball Group. If you are not yet a DC Classic Pickleball Group member, you will be prompted to join before you can complete your tournament registration. Players who are not DC residents must have a DC resident partner in order to play in the tournament.
Registration closes on April 18th at 11:45pm
Events are mixed doubles, men's doubles and women's doubles. The format is round robin. There are two different skill divisions in each event, Intermediate, for players with a skill level below 4.0, and Advanced, for 4.0+ skill level players. DUPR ratings will be used and teams must register at the skill level of the higher rated player. Ratings will be updated on April 11th, one week prior to the close of registration, and teams will be moved to a higher skill level event if their rating increases.
For players with no DUPR rating, the self rating from their player profile will be used for bracket placement.

Large brackets will be divided by age to create playing groups. There is a guaranteed minimum of four games in each event.
General Schedule of Events:
Morning - Mixed Doubles
Afternoon - Men's Doubles
Afternoon - Women's Doubles
Specific Start Times will be posted on this website and emailed to players after registration closes.
A tournament t-shirt is included for anyone registering by April 5th.
