Colorado Open - Pikes Peak or Bust is an Age/Skill tournament for ALL Ages including 50+. Events will be held for Men’s and Women’s singles and doubles as well as Mixed and Wheelchair Doubles, Singles and Hybrid. After registration closes, events will be split into 5 year age/skill groups for medaling purposes. Age groups/skill levels may be combined for bracketing.

ALL EVENT BRACKET DETAILS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE BASED ON REGISTRATION. PLEASE REVIEW YOUR EVENTS 3-7 days BEFORE actual day of play.

Registration is $45, plus $10 for each event through June 30. Starting July 1, Registration is $55, plus $10 for each event till registration closes July 25. USSP/SSIPA members will receive a $10 discount. Free T-Shirt for each registrant. Free Practice Day and Free Pizza Party Thursday, August 1 - 4:30 pm in the Pavilion at MVP Park.

The tournament will remain open until the tournament director deems the day’s events are full.

Brackets/Events will be round robin. For events with large numbers of teams (usually 8 or more), there will be pool play with single elimination brackets to follow. Players are guaranteed 3 matches per event. More play for your money.

No membership in any association is required for registration.

This tournament is US Senior Pickleball approved and is a USSP Circuit Event giving USSP members who are medal winners access to year end prizes. USSP has a points system to award prizes to the top finishers each year. In the past, prizes with a retail value of $20,000 were awarded to the top 10 point winners in each age group for both men and women on an annual cycle. In 2024, the prize points will begin in February and run through the end of December.

Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks before the tournament registration closing. Please withdraw by midnight July 9 for a refund. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee. Emergency refunds will be issued based on documentation and tournament director approval.

This is an outdoor tournament. THERE WILL BE NO REFUNDS FOR WEATHER RELATED CANCELLATIONS. IN CASE OF WEATHER DELAYS, WE WILL ATTEMPT TO PLAY ALL MATCHES SCHEDULED FOR THAT DAY. We have a Rain Day set up for Monday, August 5, if needed to make up Matches.
