Tournament Description

Help celebrate the completion of our new pickleball courts with our Fall Grand Opening tournament. In addition to some fun pickleball enjoy the beauty of Pagosa Springs, the fall colors in the San Juan Mountains, and relax in the deepest hot springs in the world.
The round robin format will ensure plenty of play. Lunch will be provided for players and we will have a silent auction with some amazing items, player swag bags and more.
Registration opens on June 15 at 8 a.m.
Registration closes on September 14 at 5 p.m.
Tournament Registration Fee - $40 - includes one event
Second event - $10
pickleballbrackets fee - $5/person/event
Payment is required to register
Pagosa Pickleball Club members receive a $5 discount (discount code can be found in the members-only section of the website)
Events will be held for Men’s, Women’s and Mixed Doubles at skill levels 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5. Medals will be awarded to first, second, and third place finishers in each skill bracket.

Men's Doubles - Sunday, October 1
Players will self-rate and teams must play at the skill level of the HIGHEST rated player using their USA Pickleball Tournament Player Rating (UTPR) if available.
Bracket Formats
1-3 teams - Combined with another bracket(s)
4-7 teams - Round Robin 11 by 1
8+ teams - Will be split into 2 pools. Each pool will play a to 11 by 1 with the top two in each pool advancing to the playoffs.
The Tournament Director reserves the right to modify the event format as needed based on registrations. Events may be split or merged as needed based on registration numbers.
Bracket slots will be filled with the first teams to have BOTH players registered and paid. Listed partners of players who have registered will have 5 days to register to hold their slot. Once the bracket is full, incomplete teams, teams not fully paid, and additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist. Waitlisted individuals/teams will be notified in the order in which they registered as space becomes available.
Participants are required to be at least 12 years-old by December 31, 2023.
Lunch will be provided for players.

Refund Policy

Refunds will be available up to 2 weeks before the tournament registration closing. All refunds will be charged a $15 processing fee.
This is an outdoor tournament. There will be no refunds for weather or other events beyond the control of the Tournament Director (ie "acts of God")
No refunds or credits will be given for any reason after the CANCELLATION DEADLINE
