Welcome to Appling County’s Inaugural Pickleball Tournament! Our county seat is Baxley and is the intersection of two major thoroughfares, creating a centralized hub for Southeast Georgia activities from industry to shopping, entertainment, and more. If you’re looking for excitement and something unique, take a stroll through the Moody Forest Nature Conservancy, spend a day on the river or lakes, or immerse in the rich history at our Heritage Center. Regardless of what you’re looking for, Baxley and Appling County are sure to provide you with an exciting backdrop for your stay in Southeast GA.
The Appling County Pickleball Club invites you to join us for a fun filled day during our Inaugural Pickleball Tournament! Our goal is to design a one-of-a-kind experience for all participants and viewers! Whether this is your first tournament or your 100th, you’re sure to find value in signing up. We have an 8-court setup and brackets consist of 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+. Age groups may be combined to ensure you get plenty of games within your level of play.
Men’s and Women’s Doubles events will kick off play before noon with Mixed Doubles events in the afternoon.
We will utilize pickleballbrackets.com for event sign up. Deadline to sign up is August 30th. Cost is $50 per player which includes 2 events and a t-shirt if signed up by August 25th at 2:00 PM.
