Event Divisions:

Skill levels: 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0

Age brackets (based on age as of Dec 31, 2022): 15+, 35+, 50+, 65+

Juniors (8-13) and (13-18)

Awards:

1st-3rd places in each age/skill group. If combined as in the following example, only 1st-3rd place will be awarded for the overall combined age/skill group:

Example:

Two 4.5/15+ teams are combined with two 4.5/35+ teams to play each other. The top three teams will receive 1st-3rd place medals.

Tournament Directors reserve the right to combine age/skill into one group for events with fewer than 4 or less teams/players. We may also reassign a player to the appropriate division if deemed necessary.

The age of the youngest player in a team is used to determine the age group bracket. Player may play down in age and up in skill.

Registration Information:

(This tournament will be capped at 300 players)

Must be a current Hawaii resident and or have proof of part-time residence

Driver's License, State ID, or Utility bill with players name identified will be accepted

Registration fee = $50 first event, $10 each additional event

Oahu Pickleball Association (OPA) Members will get a $10 discount. Register to become an OPA Member, https://oahupickleballassociation.org/ (This is separate from OPA's Meetup which is free to join.)

UPDATES:

Mixed 3.0

In order to accommodate the large number of participants in the Mixed Doubles 3.0 divisions, we added another day into the tournament. Furthermore, Mixed Doubles 3.0 division (50+) was split into 2 days. Players have been emailed detailed instructions as to who plays Thursday Oct 20th and Saturday Oct. 22nd. First place teams from each pool of the (50+) will play in the play-offs and medal matches on Saturday Oct. 22nd.

Referees Needed

If you have received referee training, please click the signup button above to help referee our Gold medal matches. Referees will get paid $10/Gold medal match!

No refunds once registration closes October 12th 11:45pm

Participants that withdraw from the tournament prior to registration closure will be refunded within 5-7 days following the conclusion of the tournament.

We have hard cost expenses in order to create this tournament and we cannot control mother nature. So, in the case of a weather cancelation of specific event('s), we will refund 50% of your registration for that event.

In the case of a complete tournament cancelation due to weather, we will first try to create an alternative date to re-run the tournament, if for some reason you are not able to make the rescheduled dates, we will refund 50% of your registration. Lastly, if we are not able to reschedule the event due to facility limitations, we will refund 50% of your registration fees.

The 5.0 division will also be considered our Pro division with a $200 payout to the Gold winner of this division. However, in order for the Pro payout to occur, each 5.0 category must have a minimum of 3 teams or 3 players (singles) for it to qualify.
