Andover Pickleball Classic Men's 3.5 and 4.0 Tournament

Official Ball will be the Franklin X-40

Tournament will take place July 17, 2021. Rain date is June 18, 2021.

Saturday June 12 will be Men's competition, 3.5 level in the morning starting at 8AM, registration opens at 7:30AM,

4.0 level in the PM starts at 1:15pm, registration starts at 12:45PM

Format will be round robin style with playoffs so all participants will be guaranteed a “whole lotta” pickleball with little to no waiting. This tournament will fill up quickly so make sure to sign up early! Registration deadline is July 10, 2021 at 12 noon.

The outdoor Recreation Park facility has 4 pickleball courts so plenty of fun play will be had by all!

Prizes will be awarded to top finishers.

Andover has free parking for all players. There are nearby hotels and restaurants for lodging and food.

Tournament Cost is $35 per event.

A NOTE ON FORMATS

The format for each bracket is decided on how many teams finally end up in a bracket after the registration closes and when people are done withdrawing. This decision has to occur at the very last minute to make sure the brackets are accurate and the printing of the match cards is not a fools errand! This also ensures that the amount of playing each team gets is maximized. Court availability, time, as well as level of play also factor into the decision.

6 teams may play 5 games to 11 or 15

8 teams may play 7 games to 11 or 15

Our goal is to let every pickle play as much as possible in the space and time that we are given!

A NOTE ON PLAYOFFS

Playoffs are determined by the factors listed above. Some brackets may get a gold/silver medal match that is best 2/3 games to 11 win by two and some may not! But rest assured all brackets do get medal matches.

The tournament directors have the right to change formats at anytime.
