USA Pickleball (USAP) MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENT

You must be a current USAP member with a Championship level membership (not a Challenger level) in order to play in this sanctioned tournament (through 11-15-25).

WOMENS, MENS AND MIXED DOUBLES EVENTS

Double Elimination Skill/Age

Skill and age levels of 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, and 5.0, see tournament event details for skill and age brackets. All brackets will be double elimination unless less than 6 teams are entered.

If less than 6 teams, the event will be a round-robin.

You can register 'up 0.50 points' in skill level, if desired. For example, if your DUPR is 3.0, you are eligible to play in the 3.0 skill level event or the 3.5 skill level event.. You can register 'down' in age events.

Player ratings for events will be based on your DUPR rating. If you do not have a DUPR rating, we will use your rating per your profile on Pickleball Brackets.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

Registration Opens August 6, 2025 at 12 Noon Arizona Time (Pacific Standard Time)

Final registration deadline (Received by) 11/04/2025

Players age is determined as of 12/31/2025

Minimum age of any player shall be 50

Players are encouraged to or set up, or 'claim' their DUPR account prior to registering and link it to your Pickleball Brackets profile.

Also, be sure you list your cell phone number in your profile as we will be using text messages to alert you when you are playing and what court you will be on.

Tournament Director reserves the right to divide and/or combine brackets or change the format based on registration.

CHECK IN

Please check in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled start time. You will be required to show Photo ID. Your bracket may start 30 minutes earlier than scheduled. If there is an emergency and you will not make your check in time, please contact the Tournament Director at (970) 739-3905.

PLAYER FEES

Registration Fee - $60.00 (includes referee fee)

Event fee (each event entered) - $10.00

Pickleball Brackets Surcharge (will show on your receipt) - $5.00/event entered, you can pay by credit/debit card in Stripe without having a Stripe account.

CONFIRMATION

Your registration is not considered confirmed until both partners are completely registered and fees are paid. Both partners have 14 days to complete/pay their registration or they will be moved to the WAIT LIST.

An event will be considered filled when paid/completed registrations for that event reach established maximums.

TOURNAMENT BALL

Selkirk S1 Pro, Green

The tournament director reserves the right to change the format to a round-robin if there are less than 6 teams registered in any age/skill group.

The tournament director reserves the right to combine age brackets and/or skill levels if any event has less than 3 teams.

There will NOT be medal match playoffs for round-robins, medals will be awarded per games won and will

follow IFP Standards Tie Breaker rules, should there be a tie with games won.

NOTE: PBB has now integrated with DUPR, and results should also go to each participants DUPR account. We encourage all participants to set up, or 'claim' their DUPR account if you do not already have one.

The new UTR-P ratings from USAP will not be used, as this is not available with Pickleball Brackets at this time. Match results will be submitted to USAP, who will submit them to UTR so they can be added to your UTR-P ratings.

Cancellation Deadline 11/03/25

Players withdrawing from the tournament prior to 11/03/25 (November 3rd at midnight) will be subject to a $15 Admin Fee. No refunds given after 11/03/2025 12:01 am. In addition, the $5.00 per event Pickleball Brackets fee is non-refundable, as they collect these fees upon your registration, not after the tournament concludes.

Inclement weather:

We have no control over the weather, should conditions prevent safe play, we may be forced to cancel event(s). Unfortunately, we will not be able to refund registrations due to weather related cancellations of event(s).

THIS IS ZERO ALCOHOL TOLERANCE TOURNAMENT. ANYONE FOUND CONSUMING ALCOHOL BEFORE, BETWEEN, OR DURING THEIR MATCHES WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DISQUALIFIED FROM FURTHER COMPETION.
