Event Days & Times

Friday - TWO OPTIONS - You can only pick one:

1. Normal Men's & Women's Singles - REGISTER ON PICKLEBALLBRACKETS.COM

2. The Dink Minor League Pickleball Team Event - REGISTRATION INFO BELOW

Saturday - Mixed Doubles

Sunday - Men's & Women's Doubles

Daily Tournament Schedule:

8AM - Earliest possible start time, NOT all divisions will start at 8AM

Tournament Fee Breakdown (Friday, Saturday & Sunday events) - each player must register and pay separately

Registration Fee - $85 (Beginning Monday September 23, 2024 the registration fee will be $95)

Event Fee - $15

PB Brackets Service Fee (we have no control over this) - $5-10

We will not have the exact bracket start times until after registration closes.

*Registration for Friday's The Dink MiLP Team Event is separate from Friday's Singles, Saturday's Mixed Doubles and Sunday's Gender Doubles. A player cannot play in The Dink MiLP and singles on Friday.

The Dink MiLP Price: $70.00 per player (must register and pay as a team) - this is completely separate from the CA Open tournament fee.

The Dink MLPlay™ FORMAT

The Dink Minor League Pickleball is team competition where teams of 4 players (2 women and 2 men) compete against each other using the MLPlay™ format: team matches are composed of four 21-point games (rally scoring), one women’s doubles, a men’s doubles, and the final two games consisting of mixed doubles. If both teams are tied at 2-2 after the 4 games are played, they’ll go to a Dreambreaker™! In a Dreambreaker™ one person from each team plays singles against the other team’s player, switching players every four rallies until someone gets to 21 and wins by two points.

DUPR ratings will be used to determine bracket placements.

Scores will be uploaded to DUPR.

Bracket Formats

Brackets with 4 or more teams could take 4-6 hours to complete, please plan accordingly

3 teams/players (only if necessary, we will try to combine any 3 team/player divisions with the closest age division possible)

- Double-RR, games 1 to 15

- Top 2 teams advanced to Gold Medal match, 2/3 to 11 win by 2

- 3rd place team automatically receives Bronze medal

4 team bracket

- Single-RR, games 1 to 15

- Semi-final (all 4 teams) - 1 to 15

- Bronze - 1 to 15

- Gold - 2/3 to 11

5-7 team bracket

- Single-RR, games 1 to 15

- Semi-final (top 4 teams) - 1 to 15

- Bronze - 1 to 15

- Gold - 2/3 to 11

8-9 team team bracket

- Single-RR, games 1 to 11

- Semi-final (top 4 teams) - 1 to 11

- Bronze - 1 to 11

- Gold - 2/3 to 11

10-12 team bracket

- 2 pools, Single-RR, games 1 to 15

- Semi-final (top 2 teams from each pool) - 1 to 15

- Bronze - 1 to 15

- Gold - 2/3 to 11

Format is subject to change at anytime.

If a bracket is unable to finish due to weather and enough matches have been played to determine placements, we will use approved USAPA rules to determine placements.

USAPA rules will be followed.

Refund Policy

Players may withdraw for a refund up to 24 hours before their bracket plays. Only registration and event fees will be refunded - we will not refund the "processing fee" that is charged by PickleballBrackets.com. We will not charge any additional refund/withdrawal processing fees!

National Pickleball events are outdoor events. If weather or any other unforeseen circumstance occurs, National Pickleball will do all it can to play matches. If brackets are in mid-play when a weather or unforeseen circumstance occurs, the situation will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine if the bracket may be finished or if winners may be determined. If we are able to start your event (even if we do not finish it), a refund will not be given. If we are unable to start your event, you will receive a refund for that event (ie. you will only be refunded the event fee(s) - not your full registration fee).

Players may withdraw for a full refund up to 24 hours before their bracket plays.
