Men’s & Women’s Doubles 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 (ages 8+, 35+, 50+)

Mixed Doubles 2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 5.0 (ages 8+, 35+, 50+)

*Some age groups and levels may be combined to create better round robin groupings

*Doubles partners in different age brackets will be placed in the younger partner’s age bracket

$10,000 OPEN PRIZE MONEY

The Open divisions are for skilled players who normally compete in the 4.5 – 5.0+ divisions, these players compete at a high level and some may compete at the professional qualifier level.

Men’s Doubles Open $3,000 (1st: $1,500, 2nd $900, 3rd $600)

Women’s Doubles Open $3,000 (1st: $1,500, 2nd $900, 3rd $600)

Mixed Doubles Open $3,000 (1st: $1,500, 2nd $900, 3rd $600)

Senior Doubles Open $1,000 (1st: $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $200)

*NOTE: A minimum of 6 Teams needed for Open events to be held.

*Results for the Open Divisions will NOT be reported to DUPR

Sunday January 19, 2025

9am: Mixed Doubles 2.5, 4.5, 5.0

1pm: Mixed Doubles 3.0, 3.5, 4.0

5pm: Men’s & Women’s Open Doubles

Each division will be allocated 3.5 hours to play

(Start times 9:00am-12:30pm, 12:30pm-4:00pm, 5:00pm-8:30pm)

Exact play times will be posted closer to entry deadline.

PLAY COURTS

48 courts total (16 permanent courts + 32 additional lined courts)

FORMAT

Continuous Round Robin play with guaranteed minimum of 5-10 games depending on bracket size. Medals to be awarded for the top three finishers.

BALL/RULES

Official Tournament Ball: Franklin X-40

USAPA 2024 Pickleball Rules will govern.

***Joola Gen3 and 3S paddles are NOT PERMITTED***

ENTRY FEES

$70 per person 2.5 to 5.0 divisions

$100 per person Open Prize money divisions

10% discount for iPickle facility members

10% discount for Early Bird Registrations until December 16, 2024 at 11:59PM

Final Registration Deadline is Sunday, January 12 at 11:59PM

DUPR

All scores will be posted to DUPR with the exception of the prize money Open divisions. Players should register for free DUPR account if they have not done so already at MyDupr.com. You will also need to join the iPickle DUPR Club, which can be found at this link. Neither player on a team may have a DUPR rating higher than the division entered (eg. a 3.5 male may not play in 3.5 mixed division with a 4.05 woman as the woman is not eligible).

Every player will receive a free gift as well as a chance to win raffle prizes all throughout the weekend

MULTIPLE DIVISION ENTRIES

Players may enter in more than one division, but must go through the registration process for each event

RAIN OUT

In the event that our tournament is rained out for one or both days of the weekend and we are unable to complete play with same and/or next day postponements, we will postpone the tournament to another weekend.

CREDIT FROM PREVIOUS RAIN OUTS/RESCHEDULING CONFLICTS

If you have credit from a previous iPickle tournament due to rain-outs/rescheduling conflicts, please email our team and we will be more than happy to apply the credit towards your Pickletopia registration

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Water will be provided and we will also have food trucks as well as pickleball vendors all weekend. Security will be present in our parking lot(s). Custom iPickle medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each division. If you have registration credit from a previous iPickle tournament due to rain-outs/rescheduling conflicts, please email our team and we will be more than happy to apply your credit towards your Winter Classic registration.

Hello iPickle Fam!

At the start of 2024, we held our first pickleball tournament ever at The Narrows, our inaugural Winter Classic, which drew a little over 300 entrants. Just six months later, we had over 1,100 entrants at Pickletopia. 2024 was such a fun, fulfilling year of pickleball competition and we would like to extend a gargantuan thanks to everyone for playing our tournaments and for being a part of our community! It’s awesome to see so many people share in the thrill of competing and we’re so excited to see the sport continue to grow in 2025.

With that said, we’ve got plenty of events lined up for the new year and we’re kicking it all off with our 2nd annual iPickle Winter Classic at The Narrows! It may be a little chilly at first, but we’ll be busting out our firepits to keep you warm and all the exciting games you’ll play should take care of the cold. As usual, we’ll be offering all amateur divisions from 2.5 up to 5.0 (8+, 35+, 50+ age groups) as well as Open Divisions with a total prize money pool of $10,000. We’ve also heard the numerous requests from our community and will be making one little change this time around: for our Winter Classic, the official tournament ball will be the Franklin X-40.
