Rules & Format
The Tournament Director has final authority over bracket placement based on DUPR rating or assessed skill level. Bosse Provisional Skill Assessments are available for $50 (30-minute session).
Format: Randomized Round Robin — each team will play a minimum of 7 matches.
Top 4 teams advance to playoffs: Finals and Bronze Match will determine 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
Custom Bosse Awards will be presented to the top 3 teams.
Players must register with their own partner and have an active DUPR account; all match results will be submitted to DUPR.
Players must adhere to the Bosse Code of Conduct — violations may result in point deductions or disqualification without refund.
Serve/Receive/Side selection will be determined by placing a “1” or “2” behind a paddle.
Round Robin games: played to 15, win by 2. Teams may switch sides when one reaches 8 points.
Each team is allowed two 30-second timeouts per match.
The full and correct score must be called before the serve motion begins; failure to do so allows the receiving team to stop play.
Line calls are made by the receiving side. Players must be 100% certain before calling a ball out.
Finals: played to 15, win by 2. Foot faults, illegal serves, and the double-bounce rule will be officiated.
