Tournament Format
Team Setup:
Although this is an individual tournament, the matches are played in a doubles format. Each court hosts 4 players, and for each round, you’ll play one game with each player on the court, playing with and against everyone.
Game Structure:
Rounds: Each round consists of 3 games.
Scoring: Games are played to 15 points using rally scoring, with a win-by-1 rule.
Points: Your round score is the total of points earned across the 3 games, with a maximum of 45 points per round.
Court Assignments & Progression:
In the first round, players are randomly assigned to courts.
After each round, your total points are recorded and averaged with your previous rounds.
Subsequent court assignments are determined by these averages—the highest average earns Court 1, and so on.
After 5 rounds (guaranteeing at least 15 games per player), the top 4 players, based on overall average points, will advance to the finals.
Finals:
In the finals, the top 4 players will play one final rotation. All previous rounds’ scores are negated, and only the points scored in the final rotation will determine the tournament winner.
