REGISTRATION WILL BE CLOSING OCTOBER 11, 2024. If you have a partner that didn't get registered they will have to call Vicky 405-206-3909 to register, ASAP If you want to play and can find a player already registered that is needing a partner and they agree to play with you. You can register also.

This will also be a US Senior Pickleball tournament. They run the perfect organization for seniors.

This tournament has a secondary registration so you aren't registered until you have registered both in pickleballbrackets.com and okseniorgames.com & paid. Please register first in pickleballbrackets and then okseniorgames.

Our tournament is geared to focusing on the player's experience. We want everyone to have fun and meet some great people. It is not all about the money or winning a medal though most of us wouldn't mind if we get one or two. It is more to do with staying physically fit and mentally sharp, enjoying play and smiling and laughing especially as we gracefully grow older. So, join us and have some fun!

· The Tournament date is set for Oct. 25th through Oct 27th 2024. Friday: Men's Doubles and Women's Singles, Saturday: Mixed Doubles, Sunday: Men's Singles and Women's Doubles.

· If a bracket has pool play we will focus on refereeing the medal matches.

· This will be a qualifying tournament for the 2025 National Senior Games to be held in Iowa.

Please read carefully: National Senior games are now narrowing the divisions to 4: I, II, III & lV. Division I is the highest...4.5 and 5.0 skill levels. Division II is the advanced...4.0 skill level. Division III is the Intermediate... 3.5 skill levels. Division IV is the beginner... 3.0 & below. So, this tournament will select the top 4 OK teams and any out of state teams that are in the top four. If one of the partners is from out of state that team is considered out of state.

You will need to setup a profile in Pickleball Brackets. And you should self assess your level using the rating from club or other systems . Please also note the rating system that Pickleball Brackets uses is not tied to any others at this time, so it will not impact your rating in other systems like UTPR or DUPR.

· The Venue is set for LIFETIME FITNESS in Oklahoma City, OK

o We plan to have up to 24 pickleball courts depending on the number of players...8 are permanent pickleball courts.

o Snacks will be provided during the morning and afternoon. Lunch isn't provided.

· Medals will be awarded to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in each Age/Skill event

· Categories: MS, WS, MD, WD, and MXD

· Divisions: Each Category will have skill levels within each age groups

· Age Groups: Starting at 50, and then in 5 year increments to 80+

This tournament is open to all players even those outside of the US

JOIN/RENEW USSP MEMBERSHIP AT https://www.usseniorpickleball.com/. Again, you do not need to be a USSP member to play in this tournament, but you would receive a $10 discount if you a USSP member.

Players cannot play down into a lower rated event this means you can't go lower than your skill level or play up in age. You can play up in skill or play lower in age bracket).

MATCH FORMAT

 All brackets will be round robin play, allows more play for all teams.

 3-5 team brackets - round robin, 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2.

 7 or more team brackets - will use pool play round robin 1to15, win by 2 and

then an elimination bracket with the top 2 teams from pools advancing. Playing 2 out of 3 to 11, win by 2.

This tournament has a secondary registration. After you have made a profile and registered in pickleballbrackets.com you will then be directed to https://okseniorgames.com. You will make an account with the Oklahoma Senior Games if you haven't played in one of their tournament and register for your events again. Then you will directed to pay. If you haven't paid you aren't registered yet.

This is the process:

1. Join USSP: usseniorpickleball.com You don't have to join this but you will get a $10 discount in all USSP tournaments if you put your member number in your pickleballbrackets.com profile. Plus many other benefits. Read about them on the ussseniorpickleball.com

2. Make a profile in pickleballrackets.com. Fill out all information along with your USSP member number at the bottom of profile in #6

3. Register for the events you want too play in pickleballbrackets.com.

4. Click on the link to register on the https://okseniorgames.com. If you don't have an Oklahoma Senior Games account you will need to make one.

5. Register again in the same events you did on the previous site.

6. Pay after you have registered.

Registration will be closing early on 10/11. The only registrations after that time will be partners of players already registered and players that don't have partners yet.
